Ergonomic rigid internal structure. It houses the heel into the right seat, adjusting the foot support and control of the ankle sideways movements. It keeps the foot tight to the shoe, allowing the perfect fit.

“Dynamic Control”, thanks to its design and manufacture, provides a clear example of a philosophy, based around protective footwear. The plastic inserts protect the wearer’s ankle further from sharp objects and protrusions. And the rigid structure improves the way your foot rests on the ground, and ankle control of sideways movements.

The rigid plastic support inserted into the sole beneath the heel and waist provides greater stability and support of the arch, consequently improving foot posture.

SAFER THAN STEEL Our footwear has an insole called ZERO (k) Anti-perforation, which ensures maximum resistance to perforation. The Sixton Peak® footwear has been certified as “zero perforation” since 2010, in compliance with the new standard EN ISO 12568:2010, integrated in standard EN ISO 20345:2011; this regulation states that the tip of the nail must not perforate the insole under a force of 1100 N. Soft and flexible, it increases comfort and sensitivity, ensuring greater movement control and less strain. The possibility to use it as a “strobe stitched” insole increases the protection surface by 100%. Excellent thermal insulation and not detected by the metal detector.

Non-slip microfibre will resist more than 200,000 Martindale cycles.

SRC EN ISO 20345:2011

In terms of non-slip, standard EN ISO 20345:2011 states that the footwear must pass tests on 2 different surfaces with classifications related to the individual tests, SRA or SRB. As the requirements of both tests are passed, SRA  and SRB, all the SIXTON PEAK footwear is awarded SRC non-slip certification.

ULTRA LIGHT PROTECTION Made of ultra light composite material, it is resistant to an impact force of over 200J, requested by the standard, and is capable of immediately regaining its original shape without trapping the foot in the case of a very strong impact. It ensures perfect thermal insulation, it is not electrically conductive and is not detected by the metal detector.

fettuccinaStrip with conductive silver filaments. In contact with the foot, this feature ensures anti-static footwear over time, with any type of hygienic insole.

OutDry® revolutionizes the concept of waterproof footwear.

OutDry® is the technology for waterproofing footwear. Thanks to an innovative lamination process, the very fine membrane is applied uniformly on the inner surface of the uppers. Each potential point where water could get into the footwear is perfectly sealed-off. With the former “bootie” system, the water was able to find its way between the membrane and uppers, consequently stagnating there. When water gets in, the shoe gets heavier; in very cold weather it could freeze and with movement it could deteriorate the padding and reinforcements of the footwear, compromising durability. The movement of the foot is restricted within a “sock”. With OutDry® no more water gets into the footwear. The foot is dry and there is no additional weight throughout the day. No “sock” and consequently the foot is free to move in a more comfortable space. The footwear maintains all the advantages of Sixton Peak over time.

28% Warmer when dry! 8% Warmer when wet!

Primaloft Footwear keeps your feet dry at all times, warm and comfortable, even in wet condition. Since staying dry is not always an option, it’s good to know that Primaloft keeps feet warmer than any other natural or synthetic insulation when wet. Our footwear technology combines a unique blend of ultra fine multi-diameter fibers in a proprietary process. The specially treated and water resistant ultra fine fibers form a dynamic insulation structure, and the multi-diameter fibers build resiliency. The fibers structure is then bonded together to form a torsionally strong, breathable and water resistant insulating core. This structure has more compression resistance and maintains more loft for better fit. Greater durability and warm. Primaloft, the professional’s choice for outerwear insulation is now the best choice for keeping feet comfortable and warm under extreme conditions.

Huntsman is a global manufacturer of differentiated chemicals. The polyurethanes division of Huntsman is a leading developer of engineering materials for technical injected sport, leisure, and professional footwear. Available in an assortment of hardnesses and densities, Huntsman Polyurethanes’ footwear systems are light yet tough; comfortable but hardwearing; flexible and durable; they perform equally well in hardwearing work footwear where chemical, oil, solvent and slip resistance is essential to comply with workplace safety standards.

SIXTON PEAK® footwear uses high quality grain leather, nubuck leather and suede - all far more breathable, natural and water-repellent than common standards. We tan our leathers in Italy in a careful process that respects the environment and the end user. SIXTON PEAK® is therefore also ecological and hypoallergenic.

Efficient protection from the cold in a slim design, ensuring greater comfort and freedom of movement. High thermal insulation even in wet or damp weather conditions. Very breathable and highly resistant to washing. Easy to maintain.

Following the increased use of electronic instruments, there has also been a rise in the demand for ESD footwear. Sixton expands its ESD product range, adding new models to the more professional footwear in class 2, which have class 3 ESD specifications; it is excellent for less restrictive workplaces. The Sixton ESD footwear discharges the accumulated electrostatic charges constantly and effectively to the ground.

With the patented BOA® closure system, durability and comfort are ensured all day long. Designed to ensure quick closure and opening even in the case of emergencies. Unlike the former string fastening system, with just one simple click or turn, you can free the foot or adjust the fit quickly and effectively. A lined multi stainless steel lace allows you to adjust the fitting to millimetric precision, thus obtaining a safe and resistant closure.

New lining “3D Air AX” Sixton chooses the best materials. Hi-tech fibers guarantee the best possible performance even right inside the footwear, which is less visible but so important for the wellbeing of the foot. The new 3D Air Ax lining is the result of the combination of two technical yarns, Amicor and Coolmax.

Coolmax offers excellent control of the foot’s temperature and hydration. The hydrophile part removes moisture from the foot, keeping it dry, offering a feeling of well-being, comfort and a long-lasting sensation of freshness.

The threads with the antibacterial fibre “Amicor” make the product more sterilised, protecting it against the formation of bad odours.

The anatomic design of the support, with the special concave shape under the heel, synergically exploits the movement and weight of the body, aspirating and compressing the air through the ducts. This produces a true pump effect, favouring the forced flow of air, leaving the foot drier and ensuring improved all-round wellbeing.

Its high insulating and breathable properties favour thermal insulation against cold, keeping the foot at a constant temperature, even in rather harsh weather conditions.

The special characteristics of Polyurethane SXT, with special cell conformation, provides the support with excellent memory. Even after repeated pressure it does indeed always return to its original shape, recovering the energy absorbed and totally guaranteeing the originally designed anatomic and functional features.

The ideal density of the material and the concave shape under the heel efficiently absorb energy even in the case of overloading, maintaining constant and comfortable support of the body weight of the wearer. It limits very common and annoying microtraumas and supports the body correctly.

This is the pride and joy of Sixton® research related to maximum comfort for feet in movement, with the innovative anti-static, breathable and anti-bacterial properties of the insole. FLYFIT is made of a multi-layer material. The upper layer in contact with the foot is made of a highly resistant net for excellent moisture-absorption. The in-between anti-bacterial layer is made of self-forming soft foam to ensure comfort and firm support of the foot; the minute holes improve elimination of moisture and ensure quicker drying when at rest. The third layer made of breathable fabric gives the insole stability and shape. The last layer, thanks to the addition of special non-slip and self-blocking elements, stops the insole from moving inside the footwear.

To dissipate to the ground the electrostatic current accumulated in the movement of the human body. It avoids small shocks and even possible sparks. Combined with the footwear, it has to meet the standards of regulation EN ISO 20345:2011.

The outstanding flexibility and action of the gel reabsorbs the energy on the heel, discharging it in four directions, re-establishing the natural oscillations of the foot. It represents an important point of balance also for the alignment of the vertical bones of the foot to ensure a correct posture, also in working conditions when standing still.

Thermoformable polymer with controlled density; thanks to its flexibility, it favors a continuous action while walking so that the blood flow aids muscular relaxation of lower limbs and back. Increasingly transpirable thanks to the ventilating and heat control holes.

Microcellular polyurethane positioned along the sole and on the heel. It has a high capacity of absorbing and restoring energy. It protects against strong impacts, by absorbing high strains and helping to prevent micro traumas to the heel and sole.
