SAFER THAN STEEL Our footwear has an insole called ZERO (k) Anti-perforation, which ensures maximum resistance to perforation. The Sixton Peak® footwear has been certified as “zero perforation” since 2010, in compliance with the new standard EN ISO 12568:2010, integrated in standard EN ISO 20345:2011; this regulation states that the tip of the nail must not perforate the insole under a force of 1100 N. Soft and flexible, it increases comfort and sensitivity, ensuring greater movement control and less strain. The possibility to use it as a “strobe stitched” insole increases the protection surface by 100%. Excellent thermal insulation and not detected by the metal detector.

EN ISO 20345:2011
In terms of non-slip, standard EN ISO 20345:2011 states that the footwear must pass tests on 2 different surfaces with classifications related to the individual tests, SRA or SRB. As the requirements of both tests are passed, SRA and SRB, all the SIXTON PEAK footwear is awarded SRC non-slip certification.
ULTRA LIGHT PROTECTION Made of ultra light composite material, it is resistant to an impact force of over 200J, requested by the standard, and is capable of immediately regaining its original shape without trapping the foot in the case of a very strong impact. It ensures perfect thermal insulation, it is not electrically conductive and is not detected by the metal detector.

OutDry® revolutionizes the concept of waterproof footwear.
OutDry® is the technology for waterproofing footwear. Thanks to an innovative lamination process, the very fine membrane is applied uniformly on the inner surface of the uppers. Each potential point where water could get into the footwear is perfectly sealed-off. With the former “bootie” system, the water was able to find its way between the membrane and uppers, consequently stagnating there. When water gets in, the shoe gets heavier; in very cold weather it could freeze and with movement it could deteriorate the padding and reinforcements of the footwear, compromising durability. The movement of the foot is restricted within a “sock”. With OutDry® no more water gets into the footwear. The foot is dry and there is no additional weight throughout the day. No “sock” and consequently the foot is free to move in a more comfortable space. The footwear maintains all the advantages of Sixton Peak over time.

New lining “3D Air AX” Sixton chooses the best materials. Hi-tech fibers guarantee the best possible performance even right inside the footwear, which is less visible but so important for the wellbeing of the foot. The new 3D Air Ax lining is the result of the combination of two technical yarns, Amicor and Coolmax.
Coolmax offers excellent control of the foot’s temperature and hydration. The hydrophile part removes moisture from the foot, keeping it dry, offering a feeling of well-being, comfort and a long-lasting sensation of freshness.
The threads with the antibacterial fibre “Amicor” make the product more sterilised, protecting it against the formation of bad odours.
The anatomic design of the support, with the special concave shape under the heel, synergically exploits the movement and weight of the body, aspirating and compressing the air through the ducts. This is the pride and joy of Sixton® research related to maximum comfort for feet in movement, with the innovative anti-static, breathable and anti-bacterial properties of the insole. FLYFIT is made of a multi-layer material. The upper layer in contact with the foot is made of a highly resistant net for excellent moisture-absorption. The in-between anti-bacterial layer is made of self-forming soft foam to ensure comfort and firm support of the foot; the minute holes improve elimination of moisture and ensure quicker drying when at rest. The third layer made of breathable fabric gives the insole stability and shape. The last layer, thanks to the addition of special non-slip and self-blocking elements, stops the insole from moving inside the footwear.
